This is a fun activity where children cut out the flower faces and create their own feelings garden. It is nice for an interactive display. Children will need craft materials such as paints, collage, felt or crayons to create their garden and then add the flower faces. Another way of using these is to duplicate and play matching games, or sort into different emotions. Children can also use the cards to indicate how they feel about an activity or event. There are 4 pages of colour flower faces with 6 faces on each page.

3 activity sheets based on the theme of World of Work for KS1. Sheet 1 shows 20 characters with props that suggest their occupations. Children can make a list of what jobs they think the people do and then write the corresponding numbers next to the characters. Sheet 3 gives suggestions that may support the children in their choices and with their written work. Sheet 2 shows 4 characters and asks the children to add props to each person to indicate what jobs they might do. They can then write the titles underneath the pictures. Sheet 3 can also be used for children to draw pictures of occupations or props and /or to write the words.

Sheet 1 shows a template for a poster that children can use or use to give them some inspiration and ideas for making their own posters. Sheet 2 is a filled in poster designed on the computer, but could equally be made with art and craft materials, pictures or photos.
